 The new permanent exhibition of QAGoMA's Australian Art collection includes major works by artists Richard Bell, Gordon Bennett and Aleks Danko, as well as a major commission from Dale Harding. The reconfigured Australian Art spaces capture major historical moments from first contact to colonisation, and exploration to immigration.

The University of Queensland Art Museum celebrates its 40th year with the exhibition 'Beyond the tower: 40 years and counting', profiling the museum's significant collection. Curated by Director Campbell Gray and Curator Samantha Littley, the exhibition includes work by Madonna Staunton, Gordon Bennett, Eugene Carchesio, Jon Cattapan, Gordon Hookey, Khadim Ali, Richard Bell, Aleks Danko, Judy Watson, Luke Roberts, and Tim Johnson.

Aleks Danko & Elizabeth Gower: Howard Arkley and Friends, Tarrawarra Museum of Art

Works by Aleks Danko and Elizabeth Gower will feature in the upcoming exhibition Howard Arkley and Friends at the Tarrawarra Museum of Art. Curated by Anthony Fitzpatrick and Victoria Lynn, the exhibition will showcase over sixty of Arkely's paintings alongside material from his archive, examples of his music, and work by close friends.  Opening 5 December 2015, the exhibition runs until 28 February 2016.

group exhibition 'Art as Verb' at Art Space, Sydney will showcase works by major local and international artists including Stuart Ringholt, Peter Kennedy, Tim Johnson and Aleks Danko. The Museum of Contemporary Art Australia has announced a 2015 survey exhibition of the work of Aleks Danko. The exhibition will present highlights from Danko's early exhibitions in Adelaide in the late 1960s, through to his recent large-scale installations. The exhibition will run from 30 July - 18 October 2015 and is presentend in association with the Heide Museum of Modern Art.

The Beauty of Distance: Songs of Survival in a Precarious Age is the title to the 17th Biennale of Sydney with David Elliott as its curator. There are 166 artists from more than 36 countries participating in the exhibition. Aleks Danko, in collaboration with Jude Walton, will present a series of performances at Fort Lytton, Brisbane on Sunday November 15. Getting the message through at all costs will respond to the architectural features of the buildings and environs of Fort Lytton, a former military installation at the mouth of the Brisbane river.
