 Vernon Ah Kee, Louise Hearman and Khaled Sabsabi have been announced as part of the 2018 Adelaide Biennal of Australian Art: Divided Worlds at the Art Gallery of South Australia. The 2018 Biennial runs from Friday 3 March to Sunday 3 June 2018. More information here.

'Louise Hearman', the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia touring retrospective exhibition, will open at the Queensland University of Technology Art Museum on 3 June 2017. The exhibition is Louise Hearman’s first major museum survey and will feature painting and drawings from across her 25-year practice. Curated by Anna Davis, MCA Australia. Read more.

Works by John Citizen, Vernon Ah Kee, Louise Hearman and Eugene Carchesio held in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria are currently on display as part of the exhibition 'Shut Up and Paint'. In dialogue with the NGVs major exhibition of David Hockney's practice, 'Shut Up and Paint' showcases the work of over fifty international and Australian artists from the permanent collection, highlighting key innovations that have contributed to the development of contemporary painting.

A number of paintings by Louise Hearman, Rosslynd Piggott's High Bed 1998, and Stuart Ringholt's Baroque Chair 2015 will be on display at the National Gallery of Victoria, Melbourne as part of the exhibition Lurid Beauty: Australian Surrealism and it's Echoes. The exhibition traces the development of Surrealism in Australian art, juxtaposing historical and contemporary work.  The exhibition runs from the 9 October 2015 until 31 January 2016.

LOUISE HEARMAN: WINNER 2014 MORAN PRIZE

Louise Hearman has been awarded the 2014 Doug Moran National Portrait Prize for her portrait of fellow artist and partner Bill Henson. Hearman receives an award of $150,000 for winning the prize. Read more

Louise Hearman & Raquel Ormella: UQ National Artists' Self Portrait Prize

New works by Louise Hearman and Raquel Ormella are on display at the University of Queensland Art Museum as part of the National Artists' Self Portrait Prize 2011. The artists were invited to make new works for the biannual, $50 000 prize, the winning work will also be acquired for the University Art Museum's National Collection of Artists' Self Portraits. This year's exhibition has been curated by Alison Kubler, around the theme of 'Life is risk/Art is risk'.
