Ian Burn, Robert Hunter, Nigel Lendon and Udo Sellbach have been included in 'The Field Revisited' at the National Gallery of Victoria. The exhibition restages 'The Field', a landmark exhibition showcasing conceptualism and abstraction, on it's fiftieth anniversary. The exhibition opens 27 April and runs until 26 August 2018. ROBERT HUNTER: THE DISTILLATION OF LIGHT, LATROBE REGIONAL GALLERY, VICTORIA

Two works by the late Robert Hunter will feature in the exhibition 'The Distillation of Light' at the Latrobe Regional Gallery, Victoria. Exhibited alongside the work of Suzanne Moss, the Hunter's works and the exhibition in general considers his fascination with where colour begins and where it ends, how it resonates and its impact on perception and experience. The exhibition opens 16 May and runs until 12 July 2015.

Taking it all away presents works drawn from the Museum of Contemporary Art Collection that explore the different effects of erasure, abstraction and the social impact of art. Featuring work by Gordon Bennett, Christian Capurro, Robert Hunter and Stuart Ringholt, the exhibition considers shared ideals and utopias, as well as art's agency in society.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert Hunter on September 23, 2014. Robert was best known as Australia's most committed minimalist painter. His restrained work came to the attention of the public during The Field exhibition, which opened the NGV St Kilda Road in 1968.
