We congratulate Gareth Samson and Gemma Smith who are finalists in the 2026 Sir John Sulman Prize.
The Sulman Prize is awarded for the best subject painting, genre painting or mural project by an Australian artist.
Samson's painting Dowager and Smith's painting Truth game will be exhibited in the finalists exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales from 9 May – 16 August 2026. More information is available here.
