Antra Cilinska’s documentary on Imants Tillers ‘Thrown into the World’ (2018) will be screened on Saturday May 2nd to accompany his major retrospective exhibition, ‘Fierce Paradise: Conversations with Aboriginal Art’, currently on display at the Museum Im Schafstall, Neuenstadt am Kocher.
Produced by Juris Podnieks Studio (Riga) and filmed on location in both Australia and Latvia, the film offers a unique insight into Tillers’ creative process and cross-cultural identity. The film will be shown in the original English version, without German subtitles.
Saturday 2nd May at 2.30pm. Entry by donation, reservations recommended.
