We congratulate Sam Cranstoun, whose painting A distinct line of lights, star-sized and star intensity, south to north is a finalist for the 2026 Wynne prize.
The Wynne Prize is awarded annually for 'the best landscape painting of Australian scenery in oils or watercolours or for the best example of figure sculpture by Australian artists’.
Cranstoun's painting is on view in the finalists exhibition at the Art Gallery of New South Wales from 9 May – 16 August 2026. More information is available here.
