This October, Peter Kennedy's 1970s Inhibodress tapes will be on view in the Milani Gallery screening room.
Kennedy was a co-founder and organising member of Inhibodress, Sydney in 1970 with Mike Parr. Inhibodress is widely regarded as the first artist-run-space in Australia.
Kennedy was the first artist to make video work in Australia after being given a camera by AKAI to experiment with. He then presented Australia’s first video exhibition alongside Parr in 1971.
