Rosslynd Piggott is an Australian artist whose practice encompasses painting, hand-blown glasswork, photography, drawing and installation. Evoking a world of sensory subtlety and poetic ambiguity, her work resists straightforward interpretation, instead inviting viewers into dream-like spaces where meaning is felt rather than explained. Drawing on surrealism, symbolism and the uncanny, Piggott explores the thin boundary between the visible and the invisible, between air, breath, reflection, material states, time and memory. Piggott transforms fleeting experiences into enduring forms of beauty, offering audiences an encounter that hovers between the material and the sublime.
